I recently picked up the 2010 version of TurboTax and installed it on my PC. Unfortunately, I am unable to launch the program. I receive the message, 'Turbo Tax has detected one or more invalid fonts and is unable to continue.Font 'Arial' does not support style 'Regular'. I went to the TurboTax support site, found a match on the error message and followed the instructions. I had to adapt some of the steps since it seems I have some kind of non-standard version of Windows 7. Most of the steps they describe don't match my version.
For example, they direct me to the 'Appearances and Personalization' icon in the control panel and there isn't one and the actions I am able to perform have no effect. Initially there I was also missing a couple of Verdana fonts as well but, recently, a Windows update corrected that issue. The Arial Regular is the only thing standing between me and getting my taxes done.

Windows creates restore points on a regular basis. End tiredness program scam. Go to a prior date from when you last changed your font. Right click MyComputer properties and click System protection to choose system restore point.
Has anyone seen the problem exhibited as it is on my version of Windows 7? Does anyone have a solution?
